The Sedalia Bombers are looking to build on a great 2014 season in which they won the MINK South and made a great run in the 2014 NBC World Series. The Sedalia Bombers will open up MINK League play Friday May 29, 2015 at Chillicothe. The first Bombers home game will be Saturday May 30, 2015 as Chillicothe comes to historic Liberty Park Stadium located at Liberty Park in Sedalia.
The 2015 roster is alomost set and you will see several familiar faces return from the 2014 roster. The complete 2015 roster will be posted in the next few days.
There will be a couple big changes for the 2015 season. First, Jud Kindle will be concentrating more on the General Manager duties and the day-to-day operations of the Sedalia Bombers. Craig "Boomer" McAndrews, the Sedalia Bombers assistant coach the past 5 years will take over the Head Coaching duties. Second, with the departure of the Omaha Diamond Spirit the MINK League was forced to realign the divisions. The Sedalia Bombers will now join the St. Joseph Mustangs, Chillicothe Mudcats and Clarinda A's in the MINK North Division.
You will see some fan favorite activities at the Bombers games including kids games between innings and maybe even a few adult games this year. Studio A Dance Conservatory will once again entertain the fans at a few games as well as Twister's Cheer & Gymnastics and Center Stage Dance. There are also several other special nights being planned so check back regularly during the season as we continue to add special events.
We look forward kicking off an exciting 2015 season and seeing everyone fill the stands to cheer on the Sedalia Bombers.
